Open Garden - Castle Carey

13:00 - 17:00. 

Castle Carey will be open to the public by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Clegg. 

South facing on a hill overlooking St Peter Port, the gardens are terraced with dividing walls enabling an ideal area for fruit trees.  

The gardens are divided in to the Lower Garden, The Middle Garden, The Vine House, The Musicians Garden and The Main Garden surrounding the Castle with a stunning pool area.  

There are many exotic plants, bushes and sculptures to be found in all areas of the grounds.  

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Access to many areas are by steps and so due to the nature of the grounds may not be suitable for the disabled although all are welcome.  

All areas of the grounds will be open to the public.  

A raffle at a cost of £2 a strip of 5 numbers. 

Prizes include A Family Thames River Cruise, donated by City River Cruises.

Dance lesson vouchers donated by Jamie le Tissier.  

Plus many more.

 

Parking.

Les Cotils has kindly allowed 8 spaces in the over flow car park and on street parking is usually to be found on a Sunday.

Cost of entry £5    Children Free

Tea Coffee and Soft Drinks available at a cost of £1.00

Cakes Pastries and Hot Sausage rolls all priced £1.50
