'Floral Guernsey judging took place during a glorious week of weather during July, that made the islands and the all the colours of the flowers look at their very best. The Floral Guernsey groups are involved in a variety of community projects involving businesses and voluntary groups to help to reinstate heritage areas but also establish new habitats for wildlife as well as look after all the floral displays. Always at the forefront of Bloom the judges were treated to the products of foraging, they were shown a garden created to raise awareness of the potential problem to pets of many common plants and a project to save the Guernsey Bumblebee' said Senior UK Judge, Sue Wood.
