Workshop with Mig Kimpton - Inspired by Mondrian

Join us on the morning of Thursday 7th April for a fascinating and fun workshop entitled ‘Inspired by Mondrian’ taking inspiration from the famous Dutch artist Piet Mondrian.
Enjoy the workshop with the forever popular Mig, creating a design showcasing an array of seasonal spring flowers in a modern and creative way, using Mondrian’s great paintings as a starting point.
This workshop is designed to extend your creativity and ignite your imagination as you engage with this iconic artist.
Attendees will complete two floral designs one of which is pave style, during the three hours duration.
Each design is suitable for all levels of ability.
Mig’s lifelong passion for flowers and floral design has won him many awards including 12 prestigious medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Moving away from theatre in 2014, he is now concentrating on his floral career. Based in Kent he has established his own flower school and he is the horticultural advisor and flower show creative manager for Aztec flower shows.
Mig famously runs the annual Blenheim Palace Flower Show and the National Flower Show at Highlands House, Chelmsford.

WHAT TO BRING All materials (flowers, foliage, floral foam and sundries) are included. A container will be provided for the first arrangement. Please bring a boat shaped / rectangular container ideally 32cm long for the second arrangement. Normal flower arranging tools are also required.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
